In The Presence Of The Energies of Blood-Lust
Hello Dearest Readers,
I awoke this morning to the 13th, or is it the 14th day of the expression of the energies of revenge and blood-lust in response to one military group attacking another through innocent civilians. I have lost tract of days as the energies of vengeance, blood-lust, nihilism, rage and profound profound suffering and sorrow move through me.
Whilst the path of retribution is not a path of my heart, I understand, without condoning or sanctioning, the other military group retaliating. Primitive, yet understandable if viewing the history of humanity.
Yet ,we are moving into weeks of the expression of the energies of violent blood-lust, with no end in sight and countries such as the United States sending weapons, warships and billions of dollars to support this very same experiences of the energies of blood-lust/revenge. The world is watching a genocide as violent as that of Rwanda and those who have the power and money to halt it, are instead escalating the violence.“Merciless Savages - Animals”*
Dear Readers, I have been reflecting daily, on a similar expression of these energies as this country, the United States was founded and more importantly expanded its 'divinely ordained boundaries'. When I read or witness modern day settler rampages or the after effects of them, when I read about the wholesale destruction of the indigenous peoples lands, livelihoods, and lives, I think to myself - “This must be a similar level of horror and blood-lust experienced by the indigenous peoples of the now United States of America." The pressure of the carpet silencing of any who would stand for the indigenous population, as well as watching usually compassionate embodied souls say nothing as they witness the revengeful violence and threats. The United States would make a treaty or engage in peace making and then engage in about face behaviors of theft, mass genocides, forcing populations to move from their lands - ‘Trail of Tears’, forcing indigenous people into camps - reservations, the killing and theft of indigenous children and the cutting the indigenous peoples off without resources on reservations - unless of course financial rewards were found in the lands, and then the indigenous population was again, displaced, killed, or left to live in lands with nuclear or other types of deathly waste from mining the Earth.
When I witness or hear about the blood shed and destruction with an alignment consciously or unconsciously with political and theological belief that the violence is an expression of the ‘right to defend oneself’ - against with “merciless savages or animals” - I realize that I am experiencing as well as witnessing, ancient energies of blood-lust and genocide.
These energies of colonization and doctrines of a divine right to the lands acquired previously being inhabited by indigenous populations according to the God (gods), Caesar, King, Queen, Prime Minister, President, etc., of the time - thousands of years of this blood-lust and genocides, taking for one’s divinely appointed group are coming to a head, in the lands of Palestine and Israel. *Merciless Indian savages - Declaration of Independence. “The Palestinian people are ‘animals’”. - Gallant IDFBlood-lust is an emotional and energetic experience in which the embodied soul (and groups), experience and and express, patriotic, nationalistic, political, or religious views in which to justify their expressions of extreme violence, retribution and vengeance. There will be embodied souls either participating, leading, reporting, or acting out these energies who will find the experiences in the moments of collective engagement with the energies of blood-lust, exhilarating, enjoyable without satiation, availed of blessings, and feeling experiences of being a part of a patriotic or theocratic movement of righteousness and rightness.*
As an energy expressed through human form - blood-lust brings forth carnage, destruction, brutality, frenzied paranoia, a righteousness to be violent, the right to inflict harm, suffering and murder upon those deemed as Other, whether they are children, the elderly, the disabled, mothers who are pregnant - when engaged with these energies, humanity is abandoned. Those engaged with the energies of blood-lust will destroy everything in their path, it is a form of collective homicide and destruction whose actions are portrayed through propaganda and pressure as righteous, heroic, strong, defenders of more often than not, the colonizing state or theocratic entity.

Johanna** Could these energies be one of the sources of PTSD? In a meditation it came to me that the surge of energies can overwhelm one's moral center as the energies around them solidify in solidarity and the righteousness of a cause/war which brings the experiences releasing the energies of blood-lust and then later, after the battle(s) or after a period of reflection, the embodied soul begins to perceive their moral center once again and feels pain and anguish associated with their actions and behaviours.
