Wednesdays with Johanna

As my embodied experience has evolved in time and space, the issue of 'protection' has less to do with armouring myself and more to do now with discernment, boundary's, and recognizing my limitations and humility. I have, over the years, slowly but surely, taken off my armour, put down my sword, and allowed my heart more reign - in the presence of great sorrow, suffering, and pain.

Since being attacked by opposing forces is fairly common in my embodied experience, especially as taking in/containing through my heart, or transmuting negativity is part of my service work (which I, to this day, struggle with not identifying with that which I take in) - 'protecting' myself or fighting the darkness would be counterintuitive.

I do not seek opposing energies. Rather in my case, for example, those who carry suffering or darkness, usually through meeting and interacting with me, may feel their hearts more or their light, and the darkness within them will be drawn out - or the darkness that they may carry will be activated and the attack may come consciously or unconsciously. As the Light increases on the planet, so much negativity and lower vibrational energies have been activated for release and healing so many like myself, have been especially busy these last few years in service to the Realms of Light.

When it comes to opposing energies or lower vibrational energies, I seek, as I have learnt in not only the Process of Purification, but in the teachings of From Light to Light, to disengage with the energies.

The act of disengaging can look as different as the energies and vibrations I am taking in.

The common denominator I strive for in my disengaging (mentally) with oppositional energies moving through my physical body, my heart, or my energy body, - is love, compassion, and nourishment.

Over the years, my ability to contain and/or transmute lower vibrational energies of darkness or opposing forces, has gotten better. I once heard Beloved Julie say in a Gathering to a beloved community member that the oppositional energies they were taking on and going through, were providing them with an 'immunity' to those very energies in the future. The building 'immunity' has really stayed with me since then. Especially when I am taking in extra strength versions of oppositional energies.

In the early days of the Purification Process, I believed in the thoughts resonating with lower vibrational energies and align with them. Aligning with them means that I would take my free will choice and use it in believing the negative energies that I was purifying - the negativity which I heard in my mind. In the beginning, long held negative beliefs about myself were being purified and seeking to be healed, often enough, I would take back, through my mind, the energies being released and then act them out! Yikes!

I have gotten much better, and there is, in my case, still work to be done - as I find, depending on the intensity and level of energies I am transmuting or containing - my ability to stay fully conscious varies as well as my ability to contain and not 'spill it all out' through my actions or words.

Now I am sharing this, for those who are much like me in spiritual nature and energetic temperament, who in reading my words, may relate, and in turn, have more compassion for themselves - or, feel the joy of being seen - of having the experience of relating, diminishing feelings of isolation.

In the early days, as I processed the energies - I would, as I said, 'align' with the oppositional forces (negative energies) and be very hard on myself. (Ironically, 'the being hard on myself', was another layer of aligning…). My work with Beloved Julie and the countless hours she spent sitting with me, teaching me, with incredible compassion, firmness, and love, especially when I went through the most intense attacks - began to sink into my brain and I began over time, loving myself more. I was also supported tenderly by the Light Omega community and their love, with Beloved Julie's love, created a bridge for me to be able to go through the darkest nights of the soul and as the depth of my calling expanded, to do my work. Thank you, Beloved Julie, and those of the Light Omega community who were there for me, each of you, in your own tender, dear, and loving ways…thank you.

Over time, I began a more earnest process (I am a sloooow learner here dear readers) of setting boundaries, loving myself more, nourishing my body and spirit. (Slow learners as even after years of living a sacred life surrendered in God, eating organic, I began smoking organic cigarettes…so you see, my journey of awakening has been of progress not perfection…and yes, I quit).

There are many that will read the description of your sacred work, Johanna & feel tremendous relief to know that they are not alone in their experiences! I am using what Julie has given me which has helped immensely & which I will continue to use, however, I just learned about the Light to Light series from reading your post..I'm going to get it, thank you!!
Whether ones vice is smoking, unhealthy eating,lack of exercise, etc we are learning to be as patient with ourselves as with one we are led to help. In every instance where I have "failed", I have learned...that there is so much to learn!! Ha, ha!! It never ends :)

I wanted to add an experience I recently had where I was & am deeply involved in the practice of letting go. As I was praying it was impressed upon me that I needed to go deeper into surrender...(this is new to me) and as I did I recognized the blessed feeling of freedom in that moment. The issue I was surrendering, didn't seem to loom so large or have as much urgency because I received the assurance that even if there was no immediate relief, that it was all being handled in Divine timing. Light continues to work whether we can see a resolution to our challenges when we surrender all. May I be an instrument of your will, your love, your peace..Amen

I had and then drew, this Sacred Vision during the time of my first visits of being 'with' Beloved Julie.

Even then, in those first visits, my soul knew...

LIGHT AND DARKNESS
I. Energy

"To understand light and darkness, one must know that the light of God is real, it was there in the beginning, and it lives within each of us. It is the light of Creation and of our own Divine essence. It is who we are at our deepest core. Indeed, each of us are children of the Light and children of God, and the process of Creation that we hold to be true of the past is ongoing, both within the cosmos and within each individual being."

"...That which has caused us to see with two eyes instead of one is the illusion of duality, based on separated consciousness. Though this separation was part of our soul's choice at the beginning of our Earth journey, it is also a choice that is influenced in profound ways by forces of darkness that are not inherent within our soul, but that act upon human experience in order to maintain the separation from the Divine. These forces or energies that act in opposition to the expansion of consciousness are what we refer to as 'darkness'. Though they are part of Creation, they also have the capacity to act in opposition to the forward motion of Creation in its evolutionary potential. Thus, they can keep us separate and alone - from each other, from God, and from the interplanetary family of which we are a part.

Darkness is both a cosmic energy and a specific force that can affect individual motivation and feeling. It tells us that we are real and that our feelings are real, but that God is not real. From one perspective, darkness may be thought of as the energy of separated intellect that causes doubt. From another perspective, it may be thought of as that which separates us fram an experience of God's love and from love in general. It does this by creating a 'perceptual filter' that causes us to believe that only what we perceive with our five physical senses is real, and that all else is an illusion. It persuades our mind to consider Divine reality as a fabrication that we make up in order to comfort ourselves.

The energy of darkness creates a sense of isolation within individuals, between people, and among nations. It fuels the negative emotional states that interfere with peace, and leads humanity toward despair, hopelessness, and fear. Even if at other moments we remain faithful to the vision of the sacred, in moments of darkness we turn away from this vision and lose touch with our basic truth. The reversal of this movement is often difficult thought possible, namely, to choose trust with our hearts, even in the presence of our mind's doubt."

"...Surrender of the separated self, therefore, comes to each soul eventually as a desire for the completion of its own purpose for existing. It may not be apparent as a desire or as a purpose within any given lifetime, yet one lifetime does not summarize the whole, and within the entire incarnational sequence, the movement toward unity will inevitably take place, once the soul has reached a certain degree of maturation. Before then, there may be conflicts about surrender, both ideological and emotional, but these conflicts relate to a stage in personal development, and eventually they give way before the desire for greater wholeness.

There are, of course, interfering factors in the human experience which have to do with the efforts of darkness to keep souls separate and to maintain the illusion that only in separation can freedom exist. These efforts have been very successful over many millennia in preventing souls from experiencing the truth of their Divine origins and the meaning of oneness. Nevertheless, the striving of darkness to maintain separation and to prevent a return to Source has been foreseen from the beginning of the creation of human beings and the planet they occupy. It was also known that these efforts, in the end, would not prevail, no matter how much they tried to keep souls from experiencing a deeper truth.

Today, as always, the choice of which identity to hold remains an individual one, and there may be some who still believe that freedom can only exist in separation. Nevertheless, these positions must be looked at from the standpoint of a learning process, and so what is deeply felt today may become something else tomorrow. Such is the history of the soul's journey through time and space – a journey that will ultimately bring all souls to the point of return to the one true Source that is their spiritual origin and home."

Amen, Amen Amen!!

Recently, someone very dear to me is purifying the longstanding karmic, emotional, physical and all other associated energies which anchored in their body as asthma.

This person was 'born with' asthma, which i perceive as a karmic issue of their soul having difficulty breathing, as related to the Breath of God in an embodied state.

As I watch the Purification Process-Blesings of Light unfold, (for this person their Purification Process is not related to anything that they have read, rather their Purification is related to their heart being open, their soul being ready, and a sacred connection to Beloved Julie and I), I watch how their body goes through profound changes. I am a witness, as this person perceives more love, how their soul comes through a little more, and how an unspoken dialogue between the soul and the body ensues, with the body surrendering more to the Process of Purification.

Everything I speak of is occurring on a subtle spiritual level, and sometimes, in the midst of the suffering the ego and the body feel, this soul can hear me when I tell them that they are going through the Purification Process - and that everything happening, even though they cannot believe it now - is a good thing. Often as not, as I once did - this person is aligning with the negativity being released from their lungs and re-believing, that which needs to be released.

I watch this process in sacred awe. I watch how everything that is needed for this person, is occurring with their soul in charge of the process, God and Love leading the way.

THE SPIRITUAL NATURE OF EMOTIONS

The gift of emotions lies not only in the richness that they bring to an individual life, but also in their ability to create a bridge between one level of being and another. Within the outer self or personality, emotions often reflect karmic influences which are shaped by previous history and form a path of learning for the embodied soul. However, as the karmic aspect of emotions are no longer needed to further the purposes of personal healing, the quality of one's emotional life changes and emotions begin to take on the qualities of the soul. In all ways, they then become freer, purer, and more able to express the feelings and attitudes of the soul.

In the course of spiritual evolution, the quality of one's emotional life naturally changes, and the process of purification, initiated by the infusion of greater light, accelerates this change. Purification begins to transform the function of emotionality from a karmically-based foundation to one that is soul-based. Instead of the personality-self operating according to its own tastes and preferences, this outer expression of selfhood begins to reflect the wishes, intentions and attitudes of the higher self or soul. As this shift in identity takes place, emotions that are 'lower' in vibration – namely, those that partake of negative energies more than positive - are replaced by ones that have at their root, the experience of love. This transition occurs because it is the soul's essential nature to exist in a continual state of love, and as the personality adapts more and more to the soul's essence, it, too, becomes infused with the deeper attributes of the soul.

Dawn arises like a seed which suddenly bursts into life,

Opening, it reveals what was inside,

sending forth the emanations of its past,

unknown to all, hidden in the ground of its being.

Having given birth to itself in the silence of self-containment,

away from eyes that could see, or know, or feel what it held within, suddenly it stretches,

stem rising to the sky,

leaves opening to the sun,

Becoming what it had always been.
