The Loss Of Loved Ones In Perilous Times

As the virus comes closer to each of us with losses of loved ones, I wanted to share what Elijah shared today on hearing of the passing of an extended family member from Covid-19.

Elijah said in essence - "People all over the world are going through perilous times. We are not alone in not being able to mourn those we love who are passing together. People are losing their Mothers, Fathers, husbands, wives, family and friends, without being able to say goodbye. What our family is going through is no different from the rest of the world. People believed before this that wealth was a sign of richness. Wealth is not richness, life, God's life is richness."

For all of us, prayers in our times of suffering, for those who are leaving us through incredible suffering and pain, those in despair and without food or means to survive, those with mental health issues who are struggling to stay grounded, those locked in detention centers and prisons, those who serve in ways that risk life without the protection they need and those who cannot say goodbye to the ones that they love.

No Frame Of Reference

Recently our local hospital had an online fund raiser asking a public out of work and for many out of money, for money to purchase safety equipment for their hospital workers including doctors and nurses. In essence they needed money from a population of people with little or no money to protect those who could be saving their lives or those they love, perhaps soon.

On the early morning on the news I heard the anguished pleas of a first responder begging on the behalf of local first responders for protective gear as they are in the line of possible infections from the cover-19 virus without protection. Later I heard a private donation was made of the highly protective masks.

I have in my heart, and my mind, absolutely no frame of reference for these and many other real time experiences of those being without what is needed to serve in a pandemic pleading for help, especially whilst living in one of the richest nations on Earth, filled with millionaires and billionaires and a government formed and funded by We The People to serve We The People telling us that the government stockpile does not belong to We The People.

I have no frame of reference for a United States not being united in helping We The People. My heart is so very heavy as I pray for those who are sacrificing their lives without the support they need to stay safe themselves.

My heart is so heavy in believing naively that this experience would be an equalizer - in fact those who have not are leaving us the fastest and those left behind with no money and support, are suffering the greatest.

Hello Dear Readers.

I have written and posted GurujiMa's writings on helplessness and limitation for as long as I have been on this forum - meaning I am no stranger to both experiences. I bring this up today because I wanted to share some personal experiences which illuminate at least for me, that one can move through extreme experiences of helplessness and limitation and become after all is said and done, no matter the mistakes made and ammended for along the way, stronger within.

I have gone through experiences of poverty so intense that I when I found myself without food or any means of supporting myself, I would collect and sell bottles and cans and scrap metal for food. I have gone through experiences of homelessness that tested me to the core of my beliefs about my strength and who I am aside from whatever means I did not have and others did have. I have endured experiences of poverty shaming and violations by those who 'have'. I have been robbed, assaulted, attacked by those with unfounded hatred towards me and survived it all. My sufferings in essence have showed me aspects of my self which I never knew existed. Inner strengths and character strengths previously unknown.

The helplessness and limitations that comes our way can provide for us a choice to trust a way will be found through the situation or engage with the energies of despair and self-destruction. Yes, I tried that path too. It only makes it more difficult to get back on the path of trusting and waiting.

This posting came to me this morning as I have been aware that I have been eating less food even though the energies of scarcity, real food poverty and despair are so prevalent amongst so many of our planetary family and national family members. In the past, experiences of poverty triggered binge eating and fear eating - the fear there would not be more food available, and often that was true, and more often food came, small miracles, awesome, compassionate and caring people in my life came forward with help and compassion and even strangers showed up unexpectedly with what was needed. There is a foundation of trust that has been built within from the years of suffering I have endured. This trust says to me - "a way through will be found - a way through will be found." GurujiMa first said these words to me, and my experiences have proved GurjiMa's words to be true.

Whilst I wish no one the experiences I have gone through to build character or inner trust in the Divine in times of pain and sorrow, it would be naive to think that millions are not going through their own versions of poverty, fear, despair, and intense suffering.

My journey's through suffering, limitations and helplessness have taught me to treasure what I have no matter how much of it I have. They have taught me to save and to be frugal. To shop when guided and not from any other motivation. They have taught me to share copiously with others. They have taught me to serve those who have much less than I, to give to the poor who ask of my help without judgements of how they will use the money I give them. My journey's have taught me, with GurujiMa's guidance and a beloved sister of Christ's love and faith in me, that a way will be made through whatever I am enduring. Even if I lose everything I have now, by the Grace of God, I will survive. I have gone through the fire and come out on the other side into the Light. I am not free from suffering but I am free to choose my way through the presence of suffering.

Easter — the triumph of light over darkness and life over death, in which something that is meant to be arises through the vanquishing of adversity.

For much of the Judeo-Christian world, this is Easter, and it’s also Passover, and for those of us who are not part of that tradition, we can still honor and celebrate what the meaning is, especially in the springtime, of light coming out of darkness, hope coming out of adversity, life coming out of death, which is the spiritual foundation of Easter.

I would like to share a few quotes from GurujiMa’s Easter Message of 2020 with those of you Dear Readers who may not have video access:

The foundation of sacrifice is the unity of love.

I’ve spoken to you before about the figures in history, for example, that have taken on huge challenges in life on behalf of others. The nobility of soul that can do that, that can take on a huge challenge and even meet their own death in the presence of meeting that challenge.

People do it for religious reasons, people do it for social reasons in terms of the well being of others without the religious overlay. The point is that the human heart is capable, and the Divine Heart is capable of taking on a challenge that will be potentially harmful for the self and that will be beneficial for humanity.

…as your soul becomes larger both within your body when you are incarnated and beyond the body, it’s capable of making the decision that is bigger than just what pertains to yourself. Because your soul, beloved ones, knows itself to be one with all.”

I would say to you Dear Readers, no matter how tired or overwhelmed you may feel, take as many moments as you can to tell someone you love, how much you love them. Tell those who have been kind to you, been there for you, been a presence in your life, how much their presence means to you.

Prayers for the suffering.

So many souls are leaving us to go home.

I don't remember the W.H.O. (World Health Organization) telling me in February that the Covid-19 virus as a "hoax" and not to take it seriously as it was no more dangerous than the yearly flu.

We need to be united in our approach to healing or we shall never heal collectively.
