The Plurality And Joy Of The Expressions Of Holiness

One might ask of me Dear Readers after reading my posts over the years on this forum, "Whom or what do you believe in Johanna?"

The joy of holiness is found within the fact that there are many paths, many ways of loving that which is Divine, that which is Holy.

When I was coming of age there were more rules around the rigidity of what one chose to believe in as Holy, with social and religious hierarchies in which embodied souls were relegated for having spiritual or religious beliefs which were not of the 'norm' spiritual and religious affiliations of one's birth or culture.

As we move forward and expand in consciousness on the whole, these former groupings of which way or who's way is 'right' concerning their spiritual and/or religious paths to Oneness - Holiness, are falling away and embodied souls are finding their own spiritual and/or religious truth's which bring them a sense of peace, joy, and path of holiness.

"Whom or what do I believe in?" I believe in all sacred paths and journey's which celebrate and honour through action, word, and, deeds, the Holiness of reality - which ever form it takes, from the indigenous to the theological no matter the sacred source of creation mythos. I too, would need to include the forms coming through in physics which also without intending to, seem to bring forth into the consciousness of humanity on the whole, the connections between the sacred teachings of the ages through numerous cultures and scientific discoveries.

Holiness is expressed as reality all around us, within and without. Each of us finds our way through the many paths and teachings available since the spoken word of generations was translated to the written, since the sacred stones of time were erected. There is no wrong way to the sacred. There is no one way to the sacred.

I believe in all expressions of the Holy. I resonate with the most joyous aspects.

with love,
Johanna

Dimensions of Consciousness: The Void, a Divine Passage
Guruji-Ma  |  November 11, 2019

The Void, or what we call ‘the Void,’ is not an aspect of darkness, but a part of Creation, a location, a substance, a substrata of non-being that was combined with being or existence in the beginning when all things were made. Being and non-being together formed all that was to be and is.

Those who find themselves within the Void for a shorter or longer period of time will not have a perspective about what they are going through, because the Void in its state of non-being does not allow any perspective.

The Void is also a passageway into the Infinite, a doorway that one must step through prior to experiencing Divine union.

Within the Void, there is nothing to be felt, nothing to be heard or seen, nothing at all. As this relates to one’s own consciousness, there are no longer feelings to navigate by, or desires or motivations to show the way one must take. This is different than the transcendence of desire that is part of human aspiration toward the Divine. The Void does not involve transcendence but reduction. One becomes feeling-less, desire-less, purpose-less, with a sense of not understanding why to exist at all.

Passage through the Void is always difficult since one loses all sense of valuing anything, and what formerly were the heart’s loves, longings, and desires are no longer present or accessible. One can search for them, but they are not there. Therefore, at its most intense, the Void is an ordeal that one must pass through on the way to something that one hopes and trusts will follow. This something may or may not be known to the mind and not even to the heart, but it is known to the soul which guides the passage.

One does not choose to go through the Void. Rather, it is chosen by the soul in keeping with Divine ordination that this be so. The Void is not something one can choose,  since it represents the opposite of choice and contradicts the principle of choice.

Those who find themselves within the Void for a shorter or longer period of time will not have a perspective about what they are going through, because the Void in its state of non-being does not allow any perspective. In a state of nothingness, only nothing can be seen. Perspective can only be regained as one comes out of it, not before. However, even in the presence of total immersion and no perspective, prayer is possible if one reaches for it, even if it seems meaningless. Prayer to remain held by God’s love, prayer for trust, prayer to reclaim one’s lost feelings and desires, Prayer to be led through the Void is ultimately the way through it.

The consciousness of being in the Void is not given to everyone to experience, but only to those souls who desire Divine union with an intensity and commitment that requires this passage in order to burn away the last vestiges of self-involvement. And even where the passion for Divine union is present, there are some who are not called to go through this. Immersion in the Void as a Divine passage is one of the mysteries of Creation. For some, it must be seen as a sacred stage leading to Divine union.

With God: Awakening From The Need To Be Saved From Suffering

There was a time many years ago when I was spiritually awakening that I became aware of how very angry I was with God. I grew up with a belief which was inspired by religious teachings which indicated to me that being saved by God from my sufferings was a sign of holiness - goodness.

In time as I sought to shift from the anger I was feeling in my heart, I began voraciously reading as many ancient treatises, theological teachings, holy books, religious poetry, as well as teachings from varied religious practices as I could find, which awakened holy memories. Yet in my heart, the constant question of 'why' I experienced so much suffering kept surfacing, agitating my mind and re-wounding the anger in my heart towards God. I found deeply profound teachings about the nature of suffering and how hanging onto to suffering or desire brought more suffering, yet I could not find the peace of mind I was seeking as to 'why' I was suffering.

Eventually in time, it was Guruji-Ma who continually spoke to my heart and brought forth the enlightenment I was seeking through my dark thoughts about God abandoning me and not saving me from suffering. Guruji-Ma taught me* that God is 'with' me, that even as I experience the energies of isolation within experiences of suffering, I am not alone. For even in the darkest moments, the darkest nights of the soul, the energies of Love and Light are always present and if I open my mind and my heart in the presence of suffering, possibilities of moving through the suffering will manifest, if I chose to trust.

The ways in which Love has manifested in my life are awesome in it's expressions of spontaneity, generosity, devotion, commitment, and warmth. It has been my spiritual experience that one has to be ready in times of suffering and darkness to cling to the smallest expression of Light without expectation and with a grateful heart.

with love,
Johanna

*It took Dear Readers, many years for me to absorb what Guruji-Ma was bringing forth as enlightenment. As we move forward, the expansion of Divine Light will accelerate experiences of spiritual enlightenment - for all.

Post subject: The Roots of Our Being
PostPosted: Sun Nov 24, 2019 2:23 pm

The Roots of Our Being
Guruji-Ma  |  November 17, 2019

We are not made just to survive. We are made to reach for the stars within ourselves, to have dreams, to seek truth, to express beauty, to feel the intensity of joy and love that come from our living human expression. We are not made just to survive.

As a tree is planted in the fertile soil of the earth, growing roots that are perfectly in balance with that part of itself that is above ground, so must we be planted in the vibrant energy of our deeper nature or Divine being, so that all that is within form and above ground may be fully supported.

We do not think of ourselves as needing nourishment from another part of ourselves, only because we have learned so well to survive above ground with little in the way of perceived nourishment and support. As a result, we live a life of worry, of dis-ease, of fear, and of a constant sense of concern about the future. This is the life that we take for granted to be the ‘human’ life, and yet it is only because we have adapted to conditions of minimal support that we take this for granted.

A tree without a root system shall ultimately fail to be a tree. It cannot support itself with an essential part of itself missing or severely out of balance. A human being without the full flow of Divine energy that is part of each individual in their deepest core may survive, but will lack some of the most essential means of expression of their true purpose for having taken birth or for pursuing the goals that their deepest heart would otherwise pursue.

We must, as a society, grow roots into our deeper self, into our soul-self. We must consider it to be as essential as breathing is to the body. For just as physical breathing supports all the organ systems of the body so that it can continue to thrive and to repair itself when the need arises, so, too, does spiritual breathing through the root system of the soul provide essential spiritual nourishment that allows life to represent the wishes of the true self, the self that is our deepest heart and our actual human potential.

Just as physical breathing supports all the organ systems of the body so that it can continue to thrive, so, too, does spiritual breathing through the root system of the soul provide essential spiritual nourishment for our true self.

We are not made just to survive. We are made to reach for the stars within ourselves, to have dreams, to seek truth, to express beauty, to feel the intensity of joy and love that come from our living human expression. We are not made just to survive.

Growing roots that are sturdy and that provide for the life of our upper branches and leaves is a matter of intention and of discipline. It is the single pursuit that is worthy of human beings at this time in our collective history. For it is now possible to embrace our soul-nature and to imagine what it would be like to live as a soul upon the earth. However, we must want it. We must want it as much as a thirsty plant or tree wants water, or as much as one who has been closed off for a long time in a dark and shadowy room desires light.

Our intention to pursue the roots of our own being is ultimately the pathway to accomplishment, along with letting go of the false idea that we can do everything ourselves within the physical plane of our existence. We have in many respects mastered the physical plane of our existence, and many of us live in great luxury as compared to standards of the past. However, we do not yet understand that the true wealth of life does not lie in physical mastery nor in material wealth, but in the spiritual wealth that lies within us that is seeking expression.

Yearning for the roots of our own being shall inevitably bring the way of discovering these to us. Letting go of the illusion that we can be in control of life rather than serving life is the means by which we shall reach our goal. Each soul that is present upon the earth is here to make this transition and to help others in making it: to shift from the outer self-awareness to the inner; to seek surrender instead of control; and to grow roots into the fertile soil of our own Divine being, rather than thinking that we can do without it.

This is a task for the mighty, and we are each mighty because we are each empowered by the same Divine force that has created all that is. It is this force that shall ultimately show the way to a new standard of what ‘being human’ means. It is the force which brought Creation into being that lives within each of us that is and shall continue to be the engine governing the inevitable progression of life.

First Insights Into A Multi-Dimensional Teaching

When I first saw the title Dimensions of Consciousness: The Void, a Divine Passage, the word 'Void' reminded me of a prophecy I received received between November 9th and 10th of 2016. "Father-Mother We enter now into the void. Guide us and send us the Light we need to 'see'." I had perceived the 'void' as collective experiences of embodied souls going through a passage but until I read what Guruji-Ma wrote about the divine nature of the passage through the 'Void' as written above I did not understand, and frankly still do not have a full understanding of what the deeper meaning of what this prophecy might hold. Even so, it felt important enough to my consciousness to create this post and share it with you Dear Readers.

Solemn Duty:

How wretched the heart
that hears the sound
of its own voice
desecrate in words,
elected honourable service,
anchored within hallowed halls,
born upon a great collective inspiration.

* * *

What shall it mean to We The People
to hear as denounced,
the love and respect of,
in union with,
the virtues of service,
the pillars of our national dignity,
that which We The People,
collectively aspire to?

* * *

Planetary-wide the energies of the
iron fist seem to assert themselves.

Willing hearts, ready to follow,
enact their cruelest desires.

* * *

How often through time have
the First Thoughts of Creation
experienced thought-forms
filling human minds with dark shadows?

* * *

When a thought or action feels solemn to an
embodied soul's heart, and these feelings of
solemnity are supported by pillars of decency,
mercy, justice, and honor, and they are attacked,
these very same embodied souls seem to grow
in Light and the energies of integrity.

All blessings to the hearts which bring forth
the energies of integrity.

* * *

In a time of would be kings
be wary of a king elect who can
easily purchase his power to rule over free peoples.

Post subject: Am I Going Through A Shift - A Spiritual Awakening?
PostPosted: Wed Nov 27, 2019 10:01 am
Am I Going Through A Shift?

It has been my experience that spiritual awakenings come in shifts. Over the last thirty years of being on a spiritual path, I have had many spiritual awakenings of consciousness. Some subtle with recognition of a shift in awareness coming as I reflected in retrospect, at other times the shift came about with determination and application of the heart's will and the mind's will to bringing about a shift, when the gift of visions came through I was ill equipped to even know how to comprehend what the shift I was experiencing meant, at other times the shift came through as pure Grace from being in the presence of the Light embodied.

Recently I wrote down: " Something is breaking free in me that was once constricted by ego, shame, and low-self worth. My body and heart are awakening from a death like slumber. Shiva is calling me to dance, calling me to breath and reach for the stars."

I have been listening to sacred Sanskrit chants for Shiva, from the Tamil, Telegu and other regions of India. I do not understand Sanskrit so I have no mental understanding of what the words are saying. Rather my experiences have to do the energies, the frequencies coming through the wording and chanting in the Sanskrit. These experiences in combination with whatever is occurring with Beloved Guruji-Ma in India that I can perceive in my body and yet not 'know' with my mind, is creating, I perceive, some sort of frequency change within me.

The frequency change is so interesting because after years of dealing with the energies of suffering, limitation, pain, hardships, and the energies of darkness compressing and constricting me, after years of being in the presence of these energies and surrendering to what was to the best of my abilities letting go of the energies of blame, anger, grief, and self pity to name a few; surrendering to Light in the presence of immense darkness - I am now feeling the energies shift to energies-frequencies related to joy, and the desire to dance - to express the sacred through the movement of my limbs - my sacred vessel of consciousness.

Years ago, reggae music of the holy ones chanting down the darkness and uplifting the spirit opened the doors to dancing that was sacred to me. When I danced I was anchoring through my feet a consciousness of the sacred in the presence of darkness. Yet this new frequency, so ancient in its origins, brings forth a desire for movement to express the joy of the sacred, the joy of being embodied as a soul. This is especially wondrous after my injury to my spine four years ago this Christmas eve. After the injury I let go of expectations associated with movement that I had once enjoyed.

I don't know Dear Readers, is this a shift? Am I going through a spiritual awakening, a shift in consciousness that is so dynamically different to what I am used to experiencing in holy service? My mind ponders in the presence of these frequencies flowing through me, "well this may just be a 'break' in the suffering, don't get too attached to a reality more permanently experienced in this way." I don't know.

I am well aware of the "untold suffering" to come as written by climate scientists, Mother Earth is burning, the oceans are toxic and warming, the rains fall with epic flooding and landslides in some regions and falls not at all in other regions, famines are expanding, minions are dying from suffering, peoples are revolting against inequity, authoritarianism and theocratic regimes are emerging seeking to control peoples thoughts and hearts. I am aware of the suffering deeply within me in service and love, and yet, in this presence of all of this evidence of destruction and suffering, a frequency change is manifesting which holds the energies of hope, joy, strength, and the promise of Light in a time of darkness.

What I do know without a doubt Dear Readers is that it is really lovely to feel strength and Light flowing through my cells, my tissues, increasing my heartbeat, turning my frown lines upside down. See, the playfulness of the holy fool is coming through too.

Is this a permanent shift or a glimpse energetically of what will be possible for all in the future?

Within time all will be revealed.

with love,
Johanna

Spiritual Exquisiteness

Hello Dear Readers,

Moments after posting I went to my email and found three new Teachings from Guruji-Ma written from India.

I have not even had the time to read Guruji-Ma's writings yet. So here are the links for each and when I am able to read them and take each into my spirit and body I will post them in their fullness.

I am writing this because this is the spiritual exquisiteness of the Holy. I am thousands of miles away from Beloved Guruji-Ma and the answers for spiritual reflection my soul was longing for came forth before I even wrote or knew about their existence.

Spiritual exquisiteness!

Spiritually Grounding The High Frequency Energies of Holiness

Dear Readers,

As you may have perceive energetically when reading my recent posts, a higher frequent is coming through my writings. I have to be honest, at times I feel really ungrounded by these new frequencies. I have adapted over the years to the frequencies associated with darkness. I can identify the the presence of the energies of darkness, my nervous system has acclimated to their resonance, I can move through time and space in their presence - constrictively and with limitations, yet move.

Yet theses new energies which I am associating with Shiva of the Sanskrit chants course through me with such vibrance, strength, and with such intensity that the frequencies can only be perceived by my mind and nervous system as voltage. In the presence of the Light frequencies I find myself ungrounded, unable to process them. Today, after posting this occurred,. I was given an intuition to put on the Sanskrit chants to Shiva and allowed my nervous system to resonate with the chants to ground the intensity of the holy frequencies.

The chants helped but I needed to go and share the frequencies of Light and Love with people. I could not ground these frequencies of Love and Light, they had to be shared. These energies are not for me to keep to myself. The people whom I have never met before until the moment I did, were lovely and we met each other in the moment with joy, and one elderly woman, with affectionate touching. For a spiritual recluse, this is a very new direction the Light is carrying me forward to.

I am going to take some time to be silent and not write, to just be with what is happening through me.

In reverence, in awe, with love,
Johanna

On Not-Knowing

Guruji-Ma  |  November 25, 2019

The journey into not-knowing is not a journey for the faint-hearted, for it involves giving up the security of all the labels and roles that have been put in place so that you could find your way in life.

There is a Divine passage that is created by not knowing who you are, that allows you to know who you are at a much deeper level when the passage has been completed. Yet, this passage can be painful and difficult, so many turn away from it and return to their former identity which seems much more secure and therefore more comfortable.

The journey into not-knowing is not a journey for the faint-hearted, for it involves giving up the security of all the labels and roles that have been put in place so that you could find your way in life. “What shall I do without these?” is the question that many ask. The answer is that you shall allow the Divine to guide you and to replace all missing labels with a new and fluid sense of Divine identity.

This replacement, however, does not always come when one wants it to or as soon as one wants it to. There is very often a delay between the letting go of something and the arrival of something else. Such a delay can cause distress for the ego and anxiety for the self that is not entirely sure that the Divine can be trusted. This must be endured.

The spiritual passage through not-knowing cannot be speeded up, no matter how much one would like it to. Of course one can read spiritual books and fill the mind with concepts, but that is not the same thing as ‘knowing.’

For many who seek union with the Divine, there is a time in which it may seem that this goal is further away than ever before, with no possibility of seeing how one can get there. During this time, one may feel alone, cast adrift, desire-less, motion-less, like a ship without a rudder to steer by, or a sailboat without a breeze.

The spiritual passage through not-knowing cannot be speeded up, no matter how much one would like it to. Of course one can read spiritual books and fill the mind with concepts, but that is not the same thing as ‘knowing.’

Such a time of not-knowing can often be felt minute by minute — in not knowing where to go, what to do, how to heal what needs to be healed. It is a time during which many feel lost and alone, however successful their outer lives may be. Unbeknownst to the self that is experiencing this, there is a spiritual passage going on of great importance. It has to do with stripping the self bare of former identifications so that the Divine alone can embrace the self with its own truer identification.

Many suffer great pain in the letting go of the former self, for in its place there is, for a time, nothing to hold onto, no idea, no purpose, no guarantee that things will turn out alright. One must have both faith and courage to traverse this time, trusting that the other side of this indecipherable passage will appear.

Having others that one can share these deep feelings with is an important and often an essential resource to make the crossing bearable. Yet, even with others present, one travels the way alone. Nevertheless, when the former self cries out in great pain, it is comforting to know that others have gone through this and that it can be gotten through. Without others, one can still go through the passage, yet it is made more difficult due to the sense of isolation.

Not-knowing who one is, is a stage of spiritual evolution, generally arriving long after one has acquired the outer attributes of a functioning self.

Then, knowing according to these outer reference points begins to lose its hold on the sense of reality, and one begins to look for something deeper as an identity, something more real. It is within this search that the experience of ‘not-knowing’ occurs, in different degrees of intensity for different embodied souls.

As one goes through this process, the pain must be absorbed, the fear that there will never be an end to the process must be absorbed, the longing for the security that has vanished must be absorbed. All must go into a prayerful place of seeking Divine guidance and love so that everything may be held in trust.

When not-knowing opens out into knowing, there is no longer an ‘old’ self there to be dealt with in the same way, even if residues remain for a time. This is its virtue and its accomplishment. What is there in its place is Divine belonging, Divine unity, and a sense of having finally arrived home.

Renunciation and the Evolving Human
Guruji-Ma  |  November 21, 2019

Renunciation: To let go of being in the world in the ways that are ordinary, but to not let go of the world. This world is held close to the heart, to love, to serve, and to cherish from the depths of one’s being.

There are two ways of being human upon the earth: to be embedded in human life and in the human drama of life as the landscape of one’s intimate daily experience, or, to renounce this identification and to return to the world from the plane of the Divine, where love flows freely as the desire to love and serve all. Of course, one can be a mixture of these two ways, and many are.

To be embedded in the human experience is to identify the physical plane, including all its varied interactions, as most real and most desired. To return to the world after renouncing it is to identify the Divine plane as most real and most desired. One does not give up love or involvement as a result of renunciation. One gives up need and desire that comes from need. This is the way of the sannyasin, the one who has renounced the common portrayal of what it means to be human in order to accept a different definition, one created entirely by the Divine.

Living with the Unknown Divine as the source of one’s human identity involves a great leap, not only of faith but of love. One must want this Divine experience of surrender more than one wants worldly things that have labels and that can be recognized as valuable by others.

What is it to be defined by the Divine alone? It is something that most human beings have difficulty imagining because of many fears that are both hidden and visible. Among these are the fear of appearing different from others; the fear of not having needs met due to rejection by others; the fear of loneliness; and the fear of the Unknown. Among these fears, the strongest is the fear of the Unknown and of being defined by the Unknown.

For the Unknown is a process, not a label. It is not a thing you can attach your name or your identity to. It is the opposite of planning, control, and knowing what will happen next.  Living with the Unknown Divine as the source of one’s human identity involves a great leap, not only of faith but of love. One must want this Divine experience of surrender more than one wants worldly things that have labels and that can be recognized as valuable by others.

To cross from one definition of ‘being human’ to another is to take a huge step in spiritual evolution. It is to surrender one’s entire life so that it may be directed by an invisible force. This force exerts its influence when it will and how it will. It is not predictable, knowable, or manageable. One must wish with all one’s heart to be joined with this invisible force in order to let go of all that must be let go of regarding past definitions of what ‘being human’ meant.

Through renunciation, one becomes free to live a Divine life. This life may not have the comforts or outer trappings of what worldly standards consider to be a ‘good’ life. It is only good from the standpoint of the inner being.

The true ‘sannyasin’ has given up the need to look or act like anyone else. He or she goes his way alone, listening always to the inner Voice that determines the direction in which to travel. This inner Voice may be audible or inaudible, verbal or non-verbal. No matter how it appears, it is the Beloved appearing within the heart and soul, the stream that flows from the Source of life into one’s own consciousness that shapes this consciousness to be what it wishes it to be.

Those who seek to manage or control their own life and to ‘know’ what the future will bring cannot fathom the joy of letting go of the need to know. They cannot fathom the great freedom that comes from not having to be other than what one’s deepest being wishes one to be. Freedom and joy are the Divine gifts of letting go of all else. For the inner communion that takes places with the Divine Beloved has replaced all outer considerations in its immeasurably greater value. This inner communion is the intimate relationship with the Divine on all levels of being. It allows one to feel that one is perpetually and finally in one’s rightful home.
