Inspired Thoughts on the Philippines You question ‘Why’ it had to pass ‘Why’ this disaster was so vast In a third world country where funds are low Made this catastrophe far worse –we know But this was meant for man to see You’re all brothers and sisters of one family And until you unite and work together Famine and poverty will continue forever The world has united this moment in time With thoughts ‘That life could have been mine’ As bewildered souls are counting the cost Of no water, food and homes that are lost They’ve been battered and torn and hearts ripped apart By the typhoon of destruction that destroyed from the start But now is the time for the world to unite In continuous thought for their terrible plight You must care for your brothers and sisters always Not just this moment-but for all of your days Working together towards peace and harmony As, we are all part -of Gods family Jeannie |
