Post subject: On Suffering and Addictive Process
PostPosted: Tue Oct 14, 2014 10:11 pm

Sometimes we need to go through the darkness to see the Light.

Note: The suffering that I refer to in this post is not addressed to the suffering of those embodied souls
in war zones, diseased areas, natural disaster areas or victims of crime.

The suffering I am speaking to dear readers is the suffering associated with addictions and relationships.

If you have been following my postings, then you are aware that I have been on this sacred path of Purification for many years. So many years in fact, that some of you may wonder, "Johanna, how come you are not healed yet?"

Well, the first part of my answer has to do with the complexity of my souls journey through time and space.

(See Teaching on Akashic Record)

The next part of my answer has to do with the process of awakening and my soul work as a spiritual teacher. The profound love in my heart for humanity calls me forth as a WayShower. As such, each experience is precious and unravels not according to my ego's will, but to the will of my soul.

And lastly, and most importantly - everything has to do with God's timing.

I am not in charge of how my healing will occur and when. What I am in charge of having the gift of a free will, are the choices I make in any given moment. Some of which are consciously made, and others, repetitive, often unconscious karmic choices based on fear, anxiety or doubt.

What I am finding as I go through the process of spiritually awakening, albeit 20+ years, which for some would seem unendurable, is that I need to go through these low vibrational density experiences - suffering - until those moments of insight into my sufferations come forth.

On some aspects of my healing journey the insights have come sooner than expected, and on other aspects, the insights took years to manifest; even still, there are insights which continue to elude me and I find myself suffering and repeating the same patterns.

Today was such a day when I found myself in a situation that I have experienced many times in this lifetime. As I felt the depth of this particular type of suffering in the same moment I was engaging with this familiar pain, I saw the choices I have made time and again, which were the underlying cause of this particular form of suffering.

Will this insight into my suffering change the situation for me immediately?

No. Experience and time has shown me that the blessed insights I am given build upon themselves, growing in strength, helping me to find my way to truth.

There is still much to learn AND I feel encouraged that I have one more spiritual, emotional, and psychological tool to face this repetitive karmic experience of awakening - "with" God. The hope in this revelation is that healing can and will occur.

All Blessings to my planetary bredren and sistren who are suffering. My heart is always with you.

love,
Johanna

Movement Toward the Light

The path of movement toward the light for an individual soul is progressive, with souls learning more and more of what light means and how to recognize it.  It is not a path that has outer markers.  Rather, the inner markers are stages of awareness that convey to us when we have moved away from what we know to be true and right.  This knowledge grows over time and as time passes, we become better able to  distinguish light and darkness, right and wrong, truth and falsehood.  Out of this learning comes a strengthening of a moral center which allows us to stabilize ourselves in light.  Though such stability does not guarantee that we will not return to actions or thoughts that are compromised by darkness, it does prevent these from gaining the upper hand to the extent that we are aware of what is happening.

Overall, the path of our soul's history is shaped by the needs of the soul to explore the boundaries of its own experience while living within physical reality.  This exploration becomes the shape of a lifetime, and each lifetime brings with it new experiences and new levels of self-exploration.  For one soul the path of exploration may have to do with the role of creativity in life.  For another it may have to do with the subjectivity of relationships and discovering how relationships work.  For a third it may have to do with the pursuit of particular spheres of knowledge that relate to the construction of physical reality.  For still another, it may have to do with a relationship with God and with the realms of light.  All the varieties of experience that distinguish each one of us from every other occur as we  explore the territory of our own inner being, and as we try to give it maximum expression in all that we do."

"…Looking backwards and looking forwards from the place in the akashic record that we are presently at, we view the landscape of our soul's expression upon the physical plane.  This landscape is formed by our desire for experience and the experiences that we have are all teachers for us regarding the nature of our own reality.  In the end, what we learn the most about are the things we pay the most attention to.  Therefore,  if we wish to participate in a different course of learning than the one we presently have, we can make the shift at any time by changing the things we pay attention to and focusing on others.  Then the portion of the akashic record that we are traveling through changes to reflect this and we develop a new perspective on life and on the nature of our passage through it."

The Path of Redemption is not a religion, nor a spiritual practice, nor a body of teachings, but rather the way that opens before us, today, as we live, walk, breathe, and go about our lives.  This way is opening not due to further education about spiritual matters, but due to an expanding awareness which is based on the incorporation of greater light within the body and mind, and within those areas that have waited so long in darkness and pain for the possibility of healing to take place.

Redemption refers to a spiritual return, and to a making possible once again of something that had been forgotten or lost.  It is mankind's next step into the evolutionary wonders of a new consciousness that shall make possible a new world,  based on principles that are direct descendants of light's quickening.

The wayshower is one who has met challenges of the past and used these to strengthen the qualities of soul that already are present, and to bring these qualities of soul into outer expression.  Thus, one who is a wayshower often has had to experience many difficult times in life in order that the soul qualities become more refined and strengthened, and in order that they then may infuse the outer life expression.

The presence of challenge or difficulty, therefore, is not necessarily a sign of personal purification needing to take place at the karmic level, but of a challenge needing to be met and mastered in order that the mission of embodiment come into full potency and full unfoldment.  Nevertheless, many still judge themselves because of the difficulties they face without fully knowing that they have chosen these difficulties on the soul level in order to bring forth virtues and soul qualities that may then be absorbed by others more easily.

For some, it is possible within a given lifetime to be easily reunited with the original unity and to live in this consciousness in the midst of that which is unlike it. Yet for most, such a shift cannot take place through a simple effort of mind or will. It can only take place through the determination of the heart to surrender all that is separate until nothing is left of it. Often, this process is long and painstaking, for the ways of surrender and the areas that must be reached within the human psyche that hold on to separation can be subtle and varied. Eventually, however, the embodied soul is ready to let go of the identity that has lived in separation and to fully embrace the unity that the heart seeks.

Some souls, during this process of learning, are not only learning for themselves, however, but are also creating a pathway that others may follow. They do this not through their immediate success in achieving the goal of unity that the mind holds as truth, nor through the intellectual understanding of the truth of oneness, but through the willingness to explore and encounter duality in all its many forms and effects on consciousness. Some of these ways are quite ordinary; others involve encounters with energies of opposition that would seek to maintain the embodied soul in a state of separation.

What the soul encounters of these energies and the way in which it meets such encounters are part of the soul's learning and are unique to each individual soul. The process of learning is a process of witnessing the effect of such influences on one’s own awareness, and learning how to anchor in light and truth during this encounter. Anchoring within the deeper self at such times IS the learning, both for the one going through the process and for others who are also being shown the way. Yet this anchoring, in order to be an effective teacher, must encounter the obstacles and energies of opposition that others will find within themselves. Without experiencing such obstacles, the way through cannot be defined or offered to others.

The domain in which each embodied soul may offer itself in a path of service that others may follow is unique, as are the qualities of soul that allow it to pursue that path, and souls are attracted to one who can point the way through a process of energetic resonance that draws them to the learning that they seek at the appropriate time. All that is asked of the one who is becoming a wayshower is to walk in humility before God and to seek guidance as to how best to offer what is being learned and what is being taught. Such is the way of light, and its gifts and blessings are offered not so much through words that may be used, as through what each individual soul can embody of truth.

TO BE A WAYSHOWER

How pain becomes a pathway is a mystery, for to most it feels like anything but a pathway.  It feels for most of us like an interference, an unwanted intruder, a violator of our most cherished wishes.Pain as a pathway is created by our willingness to experience its truth, by holding it in the light of God, and by asking to learn from the experience. What we are here to learn from pain is always positive.  It is never a punishment.  It is always the soul's choice, made at a different level of consciousness and at a different time, to accept the significant pains of life as teaching tools, and to interact with them in order to grow.  When this acceptance has been rejected by us for one lifetime or for many, the pain we would rather not face then builds up both within our unconscious minds and within our bodies, and remains dormant there in a non-active state until such time as we are ready to experience it.  Within the unconscious, it may occasionally be felt in an inarticulate way as a source of unknown distress.  Within the body, it can give rise to symptoms of unknown origin, to chronic conditions, to diseases of various kinds, in a word - it manifests not as the original pain but as the result of the original pain plus its suppression.

SELFHOOD, SURRENDER, AND THE JOURNEY TO WHOLENESS

by Julie

Just as a circle appears to have no beginning or end, so too does the spiritual evolution of souls bring the developed soul back to its point of origin, making it appear to the casual observer that it might have been possible to traverse this circle in another way, or perhaps to eliminate it altogether. Such an observer might speculate that it could have been possible to join the threads of beginning and end in a way that did not involve so much time or distance between the two.

Such speculation, however, would not be the case, for the distance traveled from beginning to end of the circle and, indeed, what makes the joining of the two points possible, are the developments that take place in the course of the passage. This passage itself is composed of the history of spiritual evolution on both individual and collective levels. It consists of the various stages of consciousness which allow the embodied soul to become self-aware and to develop a more refined sense of its own uniqueness.

The feature of self-awareness is not an incidental one, but is fundamental to the soul's journey. For the complexity of thought and emotion that a person experiences as part of life make up much of what we consider to be their character, and while character is not spirit, it is meant to reflect its spiritual origins. Therefore, the progression of self-development proceeds along lines of character development, with the soul learning more and more about what is important to value in life and what can be discarded.

To arrive at a heightened sense of selfhood may be equated to the ripening of a fruit which, in its earlier stages, is still a fruit, but does not have the fullness of taste, aroma, texture, or color that it will have later on when it matures. So, too, does the soul who takes on a physical body need to ripen and mature so that the inner qualities which exist in potential can develop fully and contribute to the individual's sense of themselves and what they have come here to do.

The growth of self-awareness is simultaneously an experience of learning for the soul as well as for the embodied self, for it is not just the personality that lives through the various experiences of life, but the soul as well. Indeed, the two are never separate, even though they may be experienced as such. From its own vantage point, the soul is continually accumulating knowledge about the state of existence within multiple dimensions of reality, including the physical. As it does so, it expands in consciousness and in its capacity to carry the light that exists within its deeper core.

Even if the personality-self knows nothing of spiritual development, and even if belief in a divine Source is never fully articulated, nonetheless, the purpose of the soul's journey is always a spiritual purpose. That this purpose proceeds blindly and mutely for many incarnations is the truth of the human experience for most embodied souls. Yet eventuality, even for those whose time of awakening takes somewhat longer, the point is reached at which the soul and the personality come closer together, making it possible for a new way of life to begin on earth and for greater communication to take place between the soul and the embodied being.

With respect to completing the circle, the embodied self must first travel far in the direction of self-awareness, even to the point of forgetfulness of the original unity from which it came. This becomes necessary in order that the proper maturation of self-aware individuality can take place, and in order that full freedom of choice, based on this individuality, can be arrived at. For without awareness of feelings or thoughts, choice becomes severely restricted. And so freedom and individual expression go hand in hand as developments within the soul's journey; and individuality and awareness go hand in hand, making possible the eventual completion of the movement toward unity.

This movement takes place in stages. At a certain point in the soul's journey, all points of individualized expression that the embodied self seeks to explore have been explored, and all yearnings for freedom as a separated self have been met. At this point, the embodied soul begins to realize that something is missing, still, and begins to seek the larger context of self-identity that can only be arrived at through identification within a greater Whole.

This turning toward unity and the desire to surrender the separated self cannot happen before the embodied self has explored its options in complete freedom. It can only happen when the ripening has taken place which allows the soul to recognize that the wholeness it seeks cannot be fully arrived at as long as it experiences itself as separate from Creator and Creation. It is this recognition that creates the turning point, and that manifests the path of return.

Surrender of the separated self, therefore, comes to each soul eventually as a desire for the completion of its own purpose for existing. It may not be apparent as a desire or as a purpose within any given lifetime, yet one lifetime does not summarize the whole, and within the entire incarnational sequence, the movement toward unity will inevitably take place, once the soul has reached a certain degree of maturation. Before then, there may be conflicts about surrender, both ideological and emotional, but these conflicts relate to a stage in personal development, and eventually they give way before the desire for greater wholeness.

There are, of course, interfering factors in the human experience which have to do with the efforts of darkness to keep souls separate and to maintain the illusion that only in separation can freedom exist. These efforts have been very successful over many millennia in preventing souls from experiencing the truth of their Divine origins and the meaning of oneness. Nevertheless, the striving of darkness to maintain separation and to prevent a return to Source has been foreseen from the beginning of the creation of human beings and the planet they occupy. It was also known that these efforts, in the end, would not prevail, no matter how much they tried to keep souls from experiencing a deeper truth.

Today, as always, the choice of which identity to hold remains an individual one, and there may be some who still believe that freedom can only exist in separation. Nevertheless, these positions must be looked at from the standpoint of a learning process, and so what is deeply felt today may become something else tomorrow. Such is the history of the soul's journey through time and space – a journey that will ultimately bring all souls to the point of return to the one true Source that is their spiritual origin and home.

The passage through hopelessness is one of the most severe trials that a person can endure, and the pain that it produces within the heart more difficult to sustain than physical pain.  And yet, if one can believe in the reality of life's sacred origin and benevolent qualities,
and hold faith with the power of the soul to convey something to the heart and mind other than hopelessness, then the time of trial can be gotten through and the time and space can be given for the heart to mend.

It is often believed that despair is the opposite of hope, and this is, for the most part true.  But even truer is the understanding that hope's opposite is the absence of love.   For where love is present, even to a small degree, there also hope can blossom.  And while it may not be felt as an emotion in any given moment, the bonds of love create a joining at a level beyond feeling which can uplift the one in sorrow and allow them to feel that it is possible to go on, with no other reason for doing so than life itself.

The loss of hope can be produced by any number of circumstances that are painful and that seem endless and without relief of a substantial kind.  In the presence of great pain and difficulty for which relief is sought, longed for, prayed for, and for which no assistance seems possible, the loss of hope is understandable, even natural according to the repertoire of what human beings ordinarily experience within embodied life.  This response to pain is part of the human experience and it is only transcending the human experience through the power of love, that makes it possible to continue on in the presence of such severe circumstances.

The embodied self may be experiencing great loss, depression, helplessness, and a desire to give up.  At the same time, another part of the self – invisible, silent, yet strongly present in the background – may insist that the self not give up, that there is a reason to continue on.  This inner strength and knowing comes from the level of the soul or higher self.  It is a part of the self that is connected to love and to the roots of love which prompt it to always affirm the value of life and the meaning of every  experience within life, whether or not the conscious self can perceive such meaning.

Where the soul can transmit the sense of its own love for God, for others, or for the earth to the embodied self, then the self that is suffering and feeling hopeless may continue to do so, but may also feel that it is possible to endure a little longer, to  manage just a little longer, because love creates its own motivation and gives importance to life, even when life itself doesn't seem to give itself importance.

What is necessary during a trial of hopelessness is to have faith in the possibility of another way of looking at things, another way of feeling about things than the one currently being experienced.

This willingness to hold an alternate point of view, no matter how flimsy such a perspective might feel, allows a small amount of space to surround the pain one feels so that the light of the soul and the light of God's love can act as healing forces to the embattled heart, and enable the human self to come once again to a place of life and of renewed hope.  Within this place, one can feel that more is possible than seemed possible a moment before, and that more can be hoped for than the heart had believed.

I have been to the dark places of hopelessness dear readers. For those of you who found this posting who are suffering and feeling as if all hope may be soon lost, you are not alone in your passage. No matter how isolated you feel in this moment, you are not alone in your hopelessness and there is a way through, another way can be made if you wait, have faith and endure.

with much love from one who has gone through the passage of hopelessness before you,

CHRONIC CONDITIONS OF LIMITATION -
THEIR SPIRITUAL PURPOSE and ORIGIN

by Julie

Many souls have chosen, at this time, to experience long-term conditions of emotional or physical limitation or illness for reasons not easily understandable at the human level.  This is because it is part of the embodied condition to wish for pain and limitation to diminish or stop altogether, rather than to continue.  Nevertheless, it happens more often than is obvious that the soul chooses a long-term arrangement of limitation in order to further the spiritual purposes of the soul.

Such a purpose cannot ordinarily be determined by thinking about it.  More often, there is an intuition which comes through the heart from the soul or from an inner knowing that conveys to the embodied self a willingness to be forbearing and to endure in trust, knowing that some greater good is being served.

"It happens for many souls that greater spiritual advancement takes place as the result
of the experience of limitation than would otherwise occur."

It happens for many souls that greater spiritual advancement takes place as the result of the experience of limitation than would otherwise occur.  This is in keeping with the decision of the soul to make more rapid progress under conditions that may seem like the opposite of advancement, namely, the limitation of what is.  Such an impression generally corresponds to the outer view, not to the inner.

Souls who may be carrying a great deal of light, for example, may choose a path of accelerated purification and spiritual growth through the taking on of an emotional or physical condition that the human embodied self wishes and longs to have removed or be significantly diminished.  This can be especially painful where the human self experiences a great desire to serve God in an outer way and finds itself unable to do so because of the limitations that are present.  Often, the embodied being experiences a paradox under such circumstances which cannot be easily resolved, namely, why would God implant such a desire to love and serve in me without a way of doing so?  Why, when I seek a spiritual path of service, am I prevented from finding it or manifesting it?

These questions are natural to the human self who experiences restriction, and cannot easily be answered except on an individual basis.  However, several things related to long-term emotional or physical limitation are often overlooked or negated in considering such questions.

First, that what one brings to the world as a path of service is not necessarily an outer activity but one’s inner state of being.  This inner state may be restricted on all sides by difficult emotions or severe physical limitations. Yet the light that one carries innately may be the path of service one is looking and hoping for, and may be present and available to others even while surrounding difficulties remain.

Second, it often happens during this present period of time on Earth - a period in which Divine light is continually expanding, creating a shift in consciousness everywhere - that the soul has chosen to experience great limitation in advance of the more rapid expansion of light which will free the embodied self from the limitation altogether.  Such restriction is taken on, then, with the belief, generally unknown to the conscious self, that one will be set free by the greater expansion of light taking place on the planet.  The period of restriction and the sense of hope that it shall come to an end according to planetary conditions is often an understanding held in the soul, not in the conscious mind.  This belief is often accompanied by an inner sense that one has come to the Earth for a purpose that has not yet manifested.

Finally, limitation is often taken on at the soul-level so that certain Divine qualities in relation to such limitation can manifest in and through the experience.  These Divine qualities may not register as a conscious advantage and by some may be under-valued.  Nevertheless, a soul may choose to manifest a Divine quality of trust, faith, hope, joy, or love in the presence of limitation in order to further the consciousness shift in others toward their own Divine identity.  When this occurs and to the extent that this occurs, this is a potent path of service.

"Throughout the months or years of chronic illness, chronic depression, or chronic limitation, trust in the Divine is one of the major avenues of growth that is being explored and experienced."

Throughout the months or years of chronic illness, chronic depression, or chronic limitation, trust in the Divine is one of the major avenues of growth that is being explored and experienced.  Trust in the Divine is an essential healing for many souls who have wandered far from the sense of their own spiritual Source.  The need for trust brings the embodied being back to a sense of more intimate relationship with the Divine, something that is true even when the conscious self carries feelings of mistrust, dismay, or even denies that such a relationship exists.

What the soul learns through periods of long restriction is to endure, to wait, to trust, and to seek the underlying reason for being which has to do with the identity and presence of the deeper self or soul within.  Such a search may remain unconscious to the waking self, yet it continues beneath the surface of awareness, no matter what the conscious self may be thinking, feeling, or believing.  This inner search is a major aspect of spiritual growth, and a primary reason why souls, before incarnating, may choose a period of embodiment in which severe limitation will play a large part.

The need to deal with the issue of trust is built into the experience of helplessness of all kinds, and one must work within the parameters of limitation and helplessness to continually see where one is in relation to the Source of being and to one's reason for being.  Trust gives meaning to experience and allows the embodied self to feel part of a greater whole, even while restricted and confined.  It also allows the hope to remain that change is possible at any moment, and that a shift in perception can take place in the blink of an eye which will alter one’s view of reality and of life.

Faithfulness as an energy is based on devotion to God's purposes without knowing what these purposes are, and yet knowing that whatever they are, they are good.  It is a matter of bringing forth roots of light that by descending into one's physical embodiment, also descend into the Earth itself, thereby transforming all of life.

Those who remain faithful, especially at times of hardship, are souls whose inner life is committed to serving a spiritual ideal, whether the mind recognizes this ideal or not.  They are souls who have come here to serve, and a significant aspect of that service is through remaining faithful.

Sacred Waiting…

The time between longing for a positive change to occur and experiencing the sometimes agonizing, sometimes hopeful moments before change occurs.

What I can 'do' whilst waiting:

Pray for help and guidance.

Surrender.

Find a point of trust within my heart that believes redemption is possible and nurture this trust.

Keep my body as pure as possible.

Wait.

Choosing to trust, over and over again, can lead us to a more intimate connection with Divine love, Divine truth, and Divine purpose, so that we come to recognize our soul’s reality and to trust this reality, often for the first time. However, such a progression requires a giving up of control even more than we may have previously done - control over how we think life should be.

Waiting-cup-550x528.jpg [ 34.16 KiB | Viewed 6520 times ]

Waiting is a passage, a passage of hope, of trust, and of endurance, that must often be gone through so that change can take place.

There are those that wait in distrust and with great fear.

There are those that wait in doubt or confusion about what is happening.

There are those that wait with optimism and trust.

And there are those that wait in unknowing – leaving all in God’s hands.

The latter is the waiting that gives greatest power to the soul to dismantle the needs and desires of the ego, and to take its place as the greater source of authority within the human life.  It is the soul that benefits from waiting, even while the embodied self may be in pain.  And it is the soul that institutes and creates from the vantage point of its own purposes, so that the greatest spiritual attainment and movement can take place.

Many suffer during times of waiting, because the bedrock of trust in Divine unfoldment has been sorely depleted, and because fear has taken its place.  Many suffer, and many desire ‘to know’ when, how, and where things will materialize.  This is entirely natural from the human standpoint but it is not the way of Divine unfoldment which does not separate itself from the Source of all movement, namely, the Source that is God.

Divine unfoldment does not require knowledge, it requires trust.  It does not require planning, it requires surrender.  And in the midst of this surrender, great truths are being born within the heart, truths concerning the soul’s relationship with God and truths concerning the meaning of life itself.  Waiting brings these truths to the deeper levels of the heart, even while the emotions and mental process may be experiencing deep distress.

Surrender involves a letting go of the ego-self in favor of something much greater – the holiness of infinite love and the peace of oneness.  In this letting go, there may exist fear that there is not enough love within the self for the Creator of all, yet this is not true.  For the relationship with the One who is All is as innate to the soul as breathing is to the human body.  It is part of spiritual breathing to breathe in and out with love for God, to be part of that love, to seek to flow in and with that love.

The conscious self may hold a different perspective.  As it engages with situations in life in which fear is present, it may seek to retain a measure of control out of familiarity and out of habit.  This control is in service of self-protection.  It is what the embodied self has known.  Returning to the Source of life as protection is something that cannot be fathomed by the ego but only by one's heart connected to the life of the soul.  Within this heart there is peace and rest and the assurance of blessedness to live within the greater life of the One.  Also, within each embodied being, however separate  or however doubting each may feel, is a yearning to be free of the limitations created by fear, doubt, and the denial of one's true essence.  This yearning is not of the mind but of the heart and of the deeper being.  The mind must give its consent in the process of returning to the Source, but the yearning itself creates the readiness for surrender and the attraction to the deeper life of the profound.

When we push something that weighs a lot, we use an energy-force that combines our will with the physical energy of our bodies to exert pressure on that which we wish to move.  Our 'will' is our intention,  and our intention activates the flow of energy that moves through our arms and legs to push or move something forward.  So it is, too, with spiritual intention and energy.  When we intend something with a spiritual goal or purpose, our intention liberates energy that begins to flow in a particular direction in accordance with our will, and if our intention is strong and there are no interfering obstacles, the energy current formed is clear and strong.

Much of spiritual life and the progress we make in our individual and collective growth occurs through this principle of intention activating energy to create movement forward.  With respect to waiting as a 'force' for moving things forward, to the mind and ego the idea is counter-intuitive, since waiting appears to be the opposite of acting or doing, and since it often feels to our mental, emotional, and physical self that it is uncomfortable, as we generally do not know when the forward movement will be visible.  Nevertheless, waiting, when undertaken with Divine purposes in mind, that is, when such waiting brings us into accord with Divine will, activates an energy force in a similar way to the action of pushing a weight forward through our intention combined with energy.

The wish to remain faithful to God's reality is a powerful wish, overcoming all obstacles in the way and rendering ineffective all efforts to remove one from a sacred reality and consciousness.

To counter the downward slide from discouragement toward rejection of God's reality, it is necessary to hold:

Only God is Real.

God is all there is.

All is held in God.

These three phrases (or similar understandings) articulate a singular truth that can be returned to again and again, namely, that there is nothing more real or more present than God and God's love, and that the claims of darkness to a greater reality are always and in every case false.  These claims are often supported by a volume of thoughts, sensations, and perceptions that appear to support their reality.  Therefore, it is necessary again and again to reaffirm that "God is all there is."

Even if the affirmation of Divine reality is done in a weak or shaky state, it holds power to counteract the pull in a different direction.  It is the way back from loss of alignment to the truth of Divine reality, at times when that truth appears to be receding into the background.

"Only God is Real" is the effective and sufficient means to progressively transform consciousness and return it to the light.

Trust partakes of both faith and belief but is more than this.  Ultimately, it is based on the experience of the goodness of life and God, and on the understanding that all that is Life works in the direction of positive change and growth at all times, both for individuals and for the planet as a whole.  The deeper our trust, the more it can be held even in the presence of external circumstance in which great hardship and pain may be present, but in which the deeper self recognizes that somehow God will turn this circumstance, also, to the good.

The surest foundation for the development of trust is the experience of God's love – not the thought of God's love, but the experience of the Divine current that can run through a situation, an event, a body, or a life.  This experience is both tangible and real, letting the one who experiences it know that love is real, and that one is forever held within the embrace of the holy and sanctified Heart of the Creator.

The purification process, including the purification of body and mind, allows each embodied self to have a greater experience of God's love, for the countervailing forces of darkness which create doubt in the mind and fear in the heart no longer stand in the way.  As light increases upon the earth and within the body, it brings with it the experience of Divine love to which it is joined, being part of the same current. As a result, the self that is growing in light will also come to know more deeply its own loving capacity as well as God's capacity to love all beings infinitely.

As a part of purification, contact, however small, with the Source of love, creates a sense in all things that there is an emanating purpose and holiness behind each thing, leading to the progressive unfoldment of Divine intention and blessing.

Surrender is the innate attraction of the embodied self at some point in its journey through the physical realm, to seek and to find the spiritual source of its being.

Post subject: THE PRACTICE OF PURIFICATION: RELEASING
PostPosted: Sat Nov 15, 2014 9:36 am

The principle of releasing states that:

In order for healing of previously held attitudes to take place, the content and energy of such attitudes must pass through conscious awareness before being set free.

The idea here is that within the purification process, darkness must be brought to the light of awareness before it can be let go of. Indeed, the healing lies in one's ability to sustain awareness of the negative emotions or energies without acting them out and without sinking into despair or feeling alienated from God, thereby creating new issues of consciousness. This is the work of purification. It does not eliminate acts of grace or the effect of collective transfusions of light which can also advance healing and eliminate several stages along the way, but it is the essence of what is generally true.

Releasing of energies requires bringing darkness to light in order for the alchemical process of transmutation to occur. When this occurs, the darkness is released into an energetic matrix which is stronger and more cohesive than the dark energies. When this light is held around whatever painful feelings may be occurring, it slowly but surely dissolves the darkness in the light, never to be heard from again.

Post subject: THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS AS ENERGIES WE CARRY
PostPosted: Sat Nov 15, 2014 1:11 pm

Thoughts and feelings are not who we are.
They are energies that we carry.

PRINCIPLES OF LIGHT AND PURIFICATION

One of the goals of releasing purification energies is to master the ability to 'not' align with the energies which are releasing through your consciousness.

Greetings Dear Readers,

My silence recently on this forum comes as a result of a going through a sacred process in which my energies are being drawn inward for healing. As such, at times, when I feel called to post, I find my heart resonating with a quote from a Teaching of Beloved Julie, often to help reference where I am at within the Process of Purification so that my journey may be of comfort or clarity to others on a similar journey.

Thank you for your readership.

Ever Held Within the Light,

with love,
Johanna

God’s timing reveals perfection – the perfect unfoldment of the maximum forward movement of healing, expansion, love, relationship, financial stability, etc. - all areas of human experience and spiritual experience in which waiting may be necessary.  Yet, the task of learning to wait is a complex one for most embodied souls, for it involves a depth of trust in the reality of Divine perfection and Divine love which assures that the best possible outcome will occur if one does not rush things or take things into one’s own hands prematurely, but waits for Divine will to manifest.

Post subject: Consciously Creating a Sacred Day for Reflection.
PostPosted: Wed Nov 19, 2014 10:56 am

Energies pass from one to another and from all of life around us.

We are forever interacting with all and yet remaining ourselves.

In becoming conscious, we must consider not only what we take into our bodies in the way of food, but also what we take into and radiate out from our bodies in the way of energy. Awareness in both areas begins to transform our bodies on a physical level, purifying both the physical structure of the body and the thoughts and emotions it contains.

It is impossible to avoid taking in energy since it is part of the human and non-human environment, and is taking place all the time on multiple levels of experience. Yet, it is possible to know more about what is taking place and to be selective about what we take in and what we send forth.

Consciously Creating a Sacred Day for Reflection.

One day a week.

The day is all yours. Focus on bringing your energies inward. Take care of your mental and emotional self, your spirit, and your body on this day.

Turn off the electronics and the phone.

If you can, plan this day so that you can be alone in the house. (Solitary time to reflect in your energy field helps the energetically sensitive get their energetic bearings.)

Burn Franckensence, Myrrh or Sage.

Purify your body in ways in which resonate with your soul.

Be.

Let go the of the energetic pressure to 'do'.

Just allow yourself to be…

One day a week.

Both the mental and emotional bodies are composed of light whose vibration is lowered when we allow discordant thoughts and emotions to reside in our energy field without care or attention.  When we do not attend to our own inner 'housecleaning' on a regular basis, then these bodies can accumulate debris of a lower vibration that can reside within them for years or for lifetimes.
